Grass Matting – Safety Surfacing
About the Product
Grass Matting is a perfect and cost effective Safety Surfacing solution for schools.
Individual interlocking mats are laid on a grassed surface around your new or existing playground equipment in order to provide all year round access while maintaining a natural grass feel.
The grass is able to grow through the holes in the matting while the mat acts as a barrier between the foot and the mud. It prevents the grass from wearing away and keeps your children clean free from mud.
The grass can be maintained as normal using a normal lawn mower or grass cutter. Eventually, once the grass matting has settled the grass will grow through enough to disguise the mats. All of the rubber mats are manufactured using recycled tyres making is an environmentally sustainable solution.
