This piece of playground equipment for schools is designed to allow children to interact with the Science curriculum in an investigative manner outdoors. Our Discovery Planter gives children the opportunity to experience first-hand the key elements of the growth of any plant or vegetable.
This piece of playground equipment comprises of a wooden planter with 4 perspex clear cylinders designed to collect natural rain water, a cear perpex side and a plastic ruler to allow children to measure the root depths and a shaded section to demonstrate to importance of sunlight in the growing process. It provides children with the perfect facility to experiment with growing their own flowers, vegetables and herbs with firm learning outcomes from the process. It also comes with two blackboard panels, two dry wipe panels to record and gather data and monitor their plants progress in an educational and engaging way.
Our outdoor science range has proven to be a very popular peice of playground equipment due to it’s multi-use across school and the benefits it brings across the whole school in curriculum, breaktimes, lunchtimes and after school clubs.
