Quality Assurance and Accreditation

ESP has its own internal mechanisms for monitoring, evaluating and refining the delivery of all of its modules. Delivery is supported by a CPD Operations Manager who has sole responsibility for communicating with organisers of training to support planning, delivery, and any post-delivery needs.
ESP takes great pride in ensuring the very highest standards of delivery and systems that support such delivery. These standards and systems have been recognised by the Association for Physical Education by way of their Professional Development Board (PDB) awarding ‘Approved Provider Status’ to ESP for the next three years
The Professional Development Board’s role is to promote high quality in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of all practitioners in Physical Education and School Sport.
Through formal quality assurance the PDB:
-
Ensure that any development activities offered are of a consistently high standard
-
Ensure that those offering and leading development activities are acknowledged by the Board as appropriate providers
-
Promote the provision of a wide range and variety of appropriate CPD opportunities.
