Background:
Dr David Morley has experienced teaching Physical Education in a range of secondary schools for nearly ten years and has also fulfilled a role as a Director of a football academy. He was recently employed as a Senior Lecturer in Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy within the internationally renowned Carnegie Faculty of Sport and Education at Leeds Metropolitan University. In his time at Carnegie, he led a talent development in PE research unit, Inclusive PE and multi-skills modules within teacher and coach education, and was project director across a range of research areas.
David has a long-standing relationship with the Youth Sport Trust/ DCSF as he was the Director of the ‘Talent Development in PE and sport’ project for four years. He continues to act as a consultant, advisor and project director for various agencies including the YST on projects ranging from Multi-skills delivery to talent development in PE and sport.
He has Undergraduate and Masters degrees in Physical Education and he has just submitted his PhD entitled ‘Viewing Physical Education through the lens of talent development’ which signifies the culmination of six years dedication to this area of expertise. He has published and presented extensively in the subject area of talent development and is co-author of the book ‘Meeting the needs of your most able pupils in PE and sport’.

Title: Lead CPD Trainer & consultant (Delivery)
Background:
Scott Benton has experienced teaching Physical Education and Multi-skills in a range of Primary Schools for nearly six years and as a Sports Development Officer. He was also employed as a Physical Education assistant at a Secondary School. In his time working in the Secondary School he set up a rugby union league and cup competition which is continuing to grow stronger and attract more schools every year. Within the Primary Schools, Scott developed Multi-skills festivals which became very popular with both staff and children.
Before he became involved with teaching, he was a professional rugby union player where he played for Gloucester, Leeds Tykes and Sale Sharks. Whilst playing his club rugby he was fortunate enough to go on and play for England, the Barbarians and most recently The Classic Lions. Through a career lasting over ten years and many tours all over the world, Scott has gained a vast amount of experience in different coaching and teaching techniques.
Undoubtedly he brings a wealth of experience with playing at the highest level as well as being involved with coaching and teaching children all over the world.
Richard Whall

Background:
Richard has almost ten years experience working across a variety of roles within the sport and fitness industry. With a degree and masters degree in sport and exercise science, he has applied his theoretical knowledge into practice across a range of levels from after school multi-skills clubs and youth fitness clubs to professional football academies and high performance tennis centres. He is accredited as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and Youth Conditioning Specialist, with a strong passion for fundamental movement skills and long term athlete development, making him ideal to develop and deliver a range of CPD awards with ESP.
Dave Challinor

Background:
Dave joined ESP straight from a professional sporting environment. During a successful career spanning 15 years in professional football he made over 400 league appearances for Tranmere Rovers F.C, Stockport County F.C and Bury F.C. He was fortunate enough to achieve international honours for England at U18 level and became renowned throughout the game during his time at Tranmere Rovers for holding the World Record for the longest throw-in in football.
Whilst playing Dave also furthered his coaching qualifications gaining his Football Association badges. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from high level professional sport and his leadership qualities and integration in a team environment throughout his career have proved invaluable in his introduction to CPD and transition from professional football to multi-skills delivery.

Ben Tan

Background:
Ben is a senior lecturer within the PE, Sport Development and Coaching programme-team at Sheffield Hallam University. Formerly, Ben worked for the Youth Sport Trust (YST) as National Development Manager, leading on G&T in PE, and G&T development work for sports colleges and their partnerships. A trained PE teacher, Ben graduated from Loughborough University for his first and postgraduate degrees in PE and Sports Science.
Ben researched and completed the development of two programmes that came to be known as TOP Sport and TOP Play, and both programmes were adopted and used by the YST to establish CPD training for school teachers in PE and sport. Ben is experienced in delivery of training and CPD for teachers, and has built up an extensive reputation for supporting partnerships in development work in PE and sport.

Anita Navin

Background:
Anita is a highly experienced coach and coach educator. She is currently Director of Student Affairs in the School of Psychology and Sport Sciences at Northumbria University, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Anita trained as a Teacher of Physical Education and spent ten years in the profession leaving her Head of Department role at Maltby Comprehensive School in 1998. Anita ventured into teacher training at Leeds Metropolitan University and was Programme Leader for the BEd (Honours) Physical Education degree until 2002.
Anita has been involved with England netball for over twenty five years as a player, coach, tutor, technical writer for the UK Coaching Certificate and as a scout. She has coached at international level with Northern Ireland and is involved in the England netball Home Training Programme for u19 England Players. Anita is currently the Assistant Coach of the Team Northumbria Super League franchise.
Anita has recently produced a Coaching textbook for netball and is currently working on a degree level text to support students completing coaching degrees. Her work with England netball and other sports on tutor training and CPD activities for coaches is extensive and she is working on the development of short courses at Northumbria in order to develop the coaching workforce.

During this time he has built up a reputation based upon professionalism, dedication, and high quality delivery. The philosophy underpinning his consultancy is built upon quality of service, and reliability. A recognised exponent of facilitative techniques, he delivers with a client and learner centred approach, empowering individuals and organisations to move forward with a clear sense of ownership.
Rex’s extensive experience as a trainer extends into the areas of quality improvement and assurance, impact studies, authorship, coach education, physical education, mentoring, goal-setting, and consultancy.
He has over the past four years worked in more than 25 countries around the world delivering programmes on behalf of the British Council, Council of Europe, Youth Sport Trust and UK Sport. This ever increasing level of experience and expertise has seen him appointed to International, National and Lead Trainer status.
