Newchurch St. Nicholas was a fantastic local project for the ESP team. We conducted a free survey for the school and found that it truly was a blank canvas for us to develop entirely as we wished. In phase one we installed our Famous Five Multi-skills markings along with a sensory art shelter. We supported the scheme with a CPD package to enforce our Whole School Impact concept.

The school was so delighted with the results that they invited us back for phase two of the development and we continued to work in partnership with them to create a truly inspiring outdoor environment. Newchurch St. Nicholas now have the complete package which includes a challenging Kinesthetic zone, trim trail and a performance area. We used our Nine Key Design Principles to work around the space, providing fun and educational activities for all.

“The playground equipment is a tremendous asset to the school. All the children enjoy using it. Visitors to the school are very impressed with the opportunities provided and school staff have been very pleased with ESP’s service and would definitely recommend them.” Jane Simpson, Associate Head Teacher
