ESP is a company that specialises in the design, installation and support of the outdoor resource in schools throughout the UK. We have a proven track record of working with Schools as an educational partner; evidencing a positive change in learning and physical activity and effectively delivering on national agendas such as Every Child Matters, Health and the Five Hour Offer.
East Norfolk SSP have invested in ESP’s Multi-skills “Famous Five” Primary programme and the Multi Activity Development Environment (MADE) for Secondary schools. 84% of the Partnership’s Infant/Junior/Primary and Special schools and 100% of the Secondary schools have had the markings put down on their playgrounds over the past few months. The partnership have also benefitted in associated accredited Level 1 and Level 3 Training Awards which is helping them to Shape a Community of Practice Through PE and Sport.
The partnership decided to hold a launch at Cliff Park High School earlier this year which highlighted and explained further the Multi-skills concept and how the partnership has impacted upon the quality of physical activity carried out by the pupils in East Norfolk. We were delighted to welcome Craig Flemming; ex Norwich City captain, and some of the FITC Multi-skills coaches who are delivering within the Partnership’s schools, to our launch. The day was packed full of activities with demonstrations from the pupils on the markings.
Richard Grove, PDM for the Partnership, has driven the Multi-skills programme and we are looking forward to building on the positive partnership we already have with him and East Norfolk SSP. Richard spoke about the positive changes that the SSP are already noticing due to the Multi-skills Intervention.
